Detailed description of HDPE Socket Fusion Fittings:
HDPE hot-melt socket fittings include equal diameter straight, reducing straight, flange, tee, elbow and so on.
One end of HDPE hot-melt socket fittings is a socket and the other end is a spigot. The inner diameter of the socket is slightly larger than the outer diameter of the spigot. Annular heating grooves or protrusions are usually designed on the inner surface of the socket and the outer surface of the spigot of the pipe fitting. These structures help to better conduct heat during the hot melt process, so that the connection between the pipe fitting and the pipe is evenly heated, achieving a good welding effect.
The hot melt socket connection is to first heat the socket of the pipe fitting and the spigot of the pipe with a special heating tool.
